Why Choose Us: We provide an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all our students. Here's why our approach stands out:

Inclusive Approach: We believe psychoanalytic concepts should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or prior knowledge. Our commitment to inclusivity means we welcome students from diverse cultural, social, and professional backgrounds. You don't need to be an expert in psychoanalysis to join our programme. We meet you where you are and help you navigate this field with clarity and support.

Openness to Contemporary Psychoanalytic Thinking About Difference:
Our curriculum embraces contemporary psychoanalytic thinking about difference. We recognize and respect the uniqueness of everyone, and we encourage discussions and explorations of the diverse cultural, social, and familial contexts that shape human experiences. We believe that understanding these differences is essential for effective perinatal, child, adolescent, and family work. You'll find a space where these topics are not just acknowledged but celebrated.

Creating a Learning Community Where All Are Welcome: We don't just provide education; we foster a vibrant and inclusive learning community. Here, you'll be part of a group of passionate and supportive peers who, like you, are committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families. We are dedicated to creating a safe and respectful space where all voices are heard and valued. We believe that learning thrives in an environment where all are welcome.

If you are living with a health condition, disability, belong to neurodiverse communities, or have any access needs that you’d like us to be aware of, we very much welcome you letting us know so we can support you with any adjustments you may require when needed. Please let us know how we can best support you with your learning.

Accessibility and Clarity: Our commitment to plain English means that we work hard to make complex psychoanalytic concepts understandable to all. We understand that jargon or obscure terminology that can be barriers to learning. We prioritise clarity in our teaching, ensuring that you can grasp and apply these essential ideas with confidence. Some of the reading and the ideas will be challenging, however we use audio recordings and visual presentations as well as small group discussions to help your understanding.

What Experience Do I Need: We understand that practical experience is a fundamental aspect of your learning journey. To ensure you get the most out of the teaching we have specific experience requirements.
